Fun with Papa and Gigi!

We had a wonderful visit with Papa and Gigi this week. It was a week of firsts for the kiddos. Julia was extremely brave and went on her first roller coaster at Busch Gardens. I felt a bit helpless seeing her look of terror at the top of the hill. Not being able to help her out was difficult for me. Thankfully, she loved her experience and is happy to tell her roller coaster story to anyone that will listen. We rode skyrides, trains and had lunch with an aggressive little squirrel. The next day, we took Jules and Noley to the Virginia Living Museum. Apparently, Nolan is terrified of fish, but loves dinosaurs. Go figure. It took about 15 minutes for Nolan to get the courage to wave to the fish, but he ran right up to T-Rex. The audio for the dino was timed just right and the T-Rex roared at Nolan as he approached. Nolan was knocked flat on his butt. I didn't know whether to laugh or rescue him;) We enjoyed swimming in Papa and Gigi's pool and Nolan discovered how to open and adjust the temperature of a wine fridge. He is going to miss the champagne!

I love how Julia poses sweetly and Daddy pretends to be eaten. Nolan isn't sure what to think.
