Today we celebrate Mommy finally locating Nolan's birth certificate.

Innovation & Mermaids

I taught Troops 980 and 1379 about Innovation and they seemed to enjoy it! Julia's group made a doll house out of recyclables. Nolan met T-Rex at a birthday party and Julia dressed up as the Mo Willems' Pigeon for Dress Like a Book Character Day. Finally, I took Julia and one of Julia's buddies to the Liberty High School Little Mermaid production.

Art Exhibit

I can't help but think Grandma Kathryn is pleased to see this update. Julia's artwork was featured in the CCPS Youth Art Exhibit at the Carroll Arts Center. We were invited to a reception later this week at the art center, but we are unable to attend. We decided to check out the gallery today instead. Not one to be left out, Nolan wanted his picture taken next to some of his favorite pieces (panda, polar bear, & penguin).
